Kelsey E Hogan MS, LPC, NCC



Kelsey views her role in her client’s lives as a privilege in being a part of their journey. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Penn State University, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She went on to receive her Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania (PennWest California.) Since that time, she has had experience working with individuals of many ages across the lifespan. Kelsey specializes in a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and addictions. She has experience with mental health, and drug and alcohol counseling at the outpatient and intensive-outpatient levels of care. Kelsey is also a trained EMDR therapist, allowing her to practice this unique form of therapy with individuals to support their healing process. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, as well as West Virginia. Kelsey’s approach to counseling encompasses a person-centered stance that aims to foster a therapeutic alliance, in order to aid individuals with tapping into their own potential. She feels strongly that meeting people at whatever point in their journey is crucial to learning about oneself, and to promote healing. Kelsey’s therapeutic approach also centers strongly around a mindfulness-based foundation, as she believes that each individual can learn more about oneself to reach their full potential in life. Walking alongside her clients as their journeys unfold is something that Kelsey feels grateful to be a part of with each person.


Fun Fact:


Kelsey traveled to Italy during her graduate education for a study abroad trip, completing a course through Duquesne University and was able to get to know people from all over the world while studying there.
